Reds 7-3 Winners Over Cleveland (AZL)
At Ed Smith Stadium, the Cleveland (AZL) Guardians and Cincinnati (AZL) Reds were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Getting a good performance from second baseman Danny Blanchard, the Cincinnati (AZL) Reds defeated the Cleveland (AZL) Guardians, 7-3. Blanchard went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Reds. Bryant Hays earned the save for Cincinnati (AZL), his 2nd of the year.

Cincinnati (AZL) took a 7-3 lead on Blanchard's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Austin Manse in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Cincinnati (AZL) to the win.

"We're producers not directors," said Blanchard. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."

The first-place Reds now have a win-loss record of 19-10.
