The Chicago N (AZL) Cubs picked up a win at Sloan Park, downing the Arizona (AZL) Diamondbacks, 6-5, in 10 innings. On the mound for Chicago N (AZL) was right-hander Adam Stephens, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner in relief was Bill Chavez. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. The Cubs are now 16-16.

The Cubs got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Adrian Samaniego. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Cubs.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Stephens said.
