Mariners Lose at Home, 4-0
|
The Cleveland (AZL) Guardians beat the Seattle (AZL) Mariners, 4-0, at Peoria Sports Complex. Starting pitcher Dan Gallagher was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The Guardians, at 15-15, have now won 4 straight.
John Bary, who is tied for 3rd in the AZL with a 1.027 OPS, had a direct impact on the outcome. Bary contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Cleveland (AZL) up, 2-0.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Gallagher said (again).
