Texas (AZL) Slaps 6-2 Loss on White Sox
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Texas (AZL) Rangers and Chicago A (AZL) White Sox.

The Texas (AZL) Rangers topped the Chicago A (AZL) White Sox, 6-2, with center fielder Alejandro Cabrera playing a big role. Cabrera went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Rangers in the win. Earning his 4th save of the year was Maximino Pometti.

Texas (AZL) used the clutch hitting of George Neff to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Rangers the lead, 3-2. For the game, Neff had 1 single and 2 doubles in 4 at-bats.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Cabrera.

The Rangers raised their record to 20-12.
