Mariners Stun Dodgers, 4-2
Los Angeles N (AZL) got a big-time effort from pitcher Jesus Montoya, but it wasn't enough to keep the Seattle (AZL) Mariners from winning the game, 4-2. Montoya threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Art LaFayette closed the door for Seattle (AZL), picking up his 1st save of the year. Seattle (AZL) now owns a record of 13-19.

Willie Olarte delivered a big hit for Seattle (AZL). The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mariners ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Olarte.
