In a tightly-contested game between the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs and the Arizona (AZL) Diamondbacks, pitcher Jonathan Valenzuela was outstanding. The Chicago N (AZL) right-hander, who leads the AZL in complete games with 1, propelled his team's 2-1 win. The win belonged to Rodrigo Hurtado in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Devin Lynch took the loss for Arizona (AZL). With the win over Arizona (AZL), the Cubs improved to 25-10.
