Mets Solve New Hampshire in Extra Innings
The Binghamton Mets defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 10-8, in part because of center fielder Alec Gingell. Gingell went 2 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Mets. The Fisher Cats fall to 10-12 and continue their wobbly start to the 2110 season.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Gingell delivered big-time for Binghamton, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Florent Loggia. The game-changing hit put the Mets on top, 9-7.

"I like how we battled to the end," said Gingell.
