Brewers Take Down Royals, 7-3
The Milwaukee (AZL) Brewers topped the Kansas City (AZL) Royals, 7-3, in Arizona Rookie League action at Maryvale Baseball Park. The standout performance belonged to Milwaukee (AZL) pitcher and St. Paul, Minnesota, native Joe Reiff. The Brewers now have a record of 17-28.

Ricky Tapia, who is tied for 8th in the AZL in triples with 4, aided the Milwaukee (AZL) cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Reiff. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
