Brewers Deal Rangers Painful Loss
Despite the exploits of left fielder Brent Fredrickson, the Texas (AZL) Rangers were beaten by the Milwaukee (AZL) Brewers, 5-4, in 10 innings. Fredrickson was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. The Brewers, now 22-26, know that wins in August count the same as wins in September.

Jesus Valdes delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Brewers. For the game, Valdes drove in one run.

"This place went bonkers," Valdes said.
