Torrance Belts 2 Homers in 4-1 Win
Getting a good performance from first baseman Kanyon Torrance, the Colorado (GCL) Rockies defeated the Boston (GCL) Red Sox, 4-1. Torrance went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Rockies. Colorado (GCL) pitcher Zack Getson earned the win, hiking his record to 3-2. Bart Mulder suffered the loss. Daniel Negron closed it out for his 1st save.

With Colorado (GCL) leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Torrance hit a slider from Bart Mulder for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Rockies ahead, 3-0.
