Baltimore (GCL) Gets 10-3 Road Win
The rain came, as predicted, but the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles and Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays were able to complete their ballgame.

The Baltimore (GCL) Orioles pinned a convincing loss on the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays, 10-3, at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Matt Valencia was a main factor in the win. He went 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs for Baltimore (GCL). Burt Larcombe was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was Hervé Lagarde.

William Bolanos had a big bases-clearing triple for the Orioles in the top of the fourth inning. With Baltimore (GCL) trailing 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Hervé Lagarde and swatted a triple to center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Orioles ahead, 5-3.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Orioles manager Moises Sanchez. "This one was nice to get."

Toronto (GCL), with the loss, is 1-3.
