Mets Topple Twins with Late Rally
The 8-4 New York N (GCL) win over Minnesota (GCL) was due in large part to Will Haugen. The Mets second baseman was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Milo Gutierrez notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. The defeat makes Minnesota (GCL) 6-8.

New York N (GCL) used the timely hitting of Frits Boere to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mets on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Boere after the game.
