Suarez goes 4-for-4 in Tampa Bay (GCL) Win
Space Coast Stadium was the site for Gulf Coast Rookie League action featuring the Washington (GCL) Nationals and Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays.

Angelo Suarez led Tampa Bay (GCL) to a triumph over Washington (GCL). The final score was 9-1. The second baseman went 4 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 2 runs and added 3 RBI. The Rays, now 12-2, have played inspired baseball.

With Tampa Bay (GCL) leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Suarez hit a fastball from Tony Santillan for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Rays ahead, 5-0.

"We had a nice day," said Tampa Bay (GCL) skipper Chris Schoch.
