The Houston (GCL) Astros got a superb performance from pitcher Jose Diaz. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Minnesota (GCL). The Twins won the game, 2-0. Diaz came in in relief and pitched to 22 batters. Losses have been few and far between for the Astros, now 12-4.

Cameron Middleton broke a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the fifth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Twins in front, 1-0. For the game, Middleton was 1-2 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

Middleton attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
