Blue Jays 5-1 Victors Over St. Louis (GCL)
The Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays bested the St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals, 5-1, at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. David Trujillo was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Toronto (GCL)'s record now stands at 31-12, placing them first in the Northwest Division.

Ryan Wechsler had a big run-scoring double for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Toronto (GCL) leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a cutter from Marco Loreto, who is tied for 3rd in the GCL in innings pitched with 60.0, and swatted a double to right. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-1.

"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager Jayden Dunbar. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
