2-0 Loss to Rays Extends Colorado (GCL) Losing Streak
Colorado (GCL) third baseman Aaron Cruse had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 2-0, to Tampa Bay (GCL) at Louisville Grounds. Cruse went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. Miguel Galvez earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 4.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. The Rockies fall to 4-10 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2107 season.

The Rays got a big at-bat from center fielder Harrison Maldrum. For the game, Maldrum went 1-4 with a triple. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Tampa Bay (GCL) a 1-0 lead.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Colorado (GCL) manager Alex Velasquez.
