The Portland Sea Dogs knocked off the Richmond Flying Squirrels by the score of 12-5. Gabe Pointer provided some pop, going 1-for-3 with 1 home run. Portland starter Mike Sherwood was credited with the win after throwing 119 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. Portland goes to 9-13.
