Wet weather did not postpone the Colorado (GCL)-Toronto (GCL) ballgame.

The Colorado (GCL) Rockies knocked off the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays, 5-1, in Gulf Coast Rookie League action at Mosquitos Ballpark. Colorado (GCL) pitcher and Moca, Puerto Rico, native Rodolfo Montano had an outstanding performance. David Fons earned the save for Colorado (GCL), his 1st.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Mosquitos Ballpark seemed to enjoy watching the Gulf Coast Rookie League action.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Montano told the Colorado (GCL) Gazette.

The Rockies have an impressive 11-6 record.
