Houston (GCL) starter Mario Torres had a strong outing against the Minnesota (GCL) Twins at Hammond Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. In 8.1 innings, Torres surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Scott Pauley picked up the save for Houston (GCL), his 4th of the year.
