Houston (GCL) and Las Vegas (GCL) got after it at Ballpark of Belvedere.

The Houston (GCL) Astros put together a convincing win at Ballpark of Belvedere, defeating the Las Vegas (GCL) Hustle, 15-3. Mario Garza was one of the hitting stars. He was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2 for Houston (GCL). Houston (GCL) reliever Marco Mendoza was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Vinny Ibarra.

Chris Patton hit a 2-run double off Vinny Ibarra in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Astros in front, 4-2. In addition to the double, Patton had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Garza.
