Tampa Bay (GCL) pitcher Lance Zangrilli did his part in helping his team beat the Washington (GCL) Nationals, 7-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. With the win, Tampa Bay (GCL) raised its record to 25-6.

Tampa Bay (GCL) took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Alex Ruiz hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Rays.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Zangrilli.
