Harrisburg Beats Altoona, 6-2
|
Harrisburg Senators starter Aaron Miller turned in an exceptional performance against the Altoona Curve at People's Natural Gas Field, resulting in a Harrisburg win, 6-2. The Curve fall to 7-15 and continue to sputter in the early going.
Harrisburg used a clutch at-bat from Scott Garner to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Senators ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
Garner attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
