Harrisburg beat Reading on the strength of starting pitcher Steve Johnson's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-2. The victory makes Harrisburg 10-11.

Miguel Cardona had a big 2-run home run for the Senators in the top of the fourth inning. With Harrisburg leading 3-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Thompson and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Senators on top, 5-0.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Harrisburg skipper Jimmy Hawkins.
