The Pittsburgh (GCL) Pirates and Baltimore (GCL) Orioles played an exciting game.

The Pittsburgh (GCL) Pirates did just enough to secure a victory over the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles, 4-3, at Ed Smith Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Randy Larocque. Armando Morales sewed up the save, his 1st.

Kevin Todd, the 18-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Todd contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Pittsburgh (GCL) up, 4-2.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Larocque.

The Pirates, at 18-13, sit in third place in the Northwest Division.
