The Boston (GCL) Red Sox buried the Pittsburgh (GCL) Pirates, 12-2, under a barrage of hits. Steve Redlin led the onslaught, going 3-for-4 for Boston (GCL). Damian Lira picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-2 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 2 in 6.1 innings, while yielding 1 run. Cole Goldberg had a big 2-run home run for the Red Sox in the bottom of the first inning.
