Astros Win with Late Heroics
The Houston (GCL) Astros beat the Boston (GCL) Red Sox, 7-4, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Belvedere. Houston (GCL) left fielder David Medina had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3. The Astros, at 17-18, sit in third place in the Northeast Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Raul Romero in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 3-run home run off 17-year old right-handed pitcher David Hardaway to win the game for Houston (GCL). The home crowd went nuts.
