Twins Win 5th Straight, Take Down Orioles, 4-2
The Minnesota (GCL) Twins defeated the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles, 4-2, in Gulf Coast Rookie League action at Ed Smith Stadium. Minnesota (GCL) pitcher Mike Ambrosio had a standout performance. Ambrosio got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 5 hits and walked 0 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Picking up his 2nd save was 18-year old right-handed pitcher Ryan Benjamin.

With two out in the top of the first, Vítor Lamorr put Minnesota (GCL) in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Twins went on to win the ballgame.

Ambrosio called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
