Twins Rally For Late Win Over Tigers
The bat of Edgar Isiordia helped the Minnesota (GCL) Twins top the Detroit (GCL) Tigers, 4-3. Isiordia was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles for Minnesota (GCL). Minnesota (GCL) reliever Aaron Miller picked up the win to move to 1-1. Lazaro Rios suffered the loss. Minnesota (GCL) is now 20-17, while Detroit (GCL) is 16-21.

Minnesota (GCL) used a timely hit from Mike Searles to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Twins ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Searles told the Minnesota (GCL) Times. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
