Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays starter Kurt Schaefer turned in an exceptional performance against the Las Vegas (GCL) Hustle at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, resulting in a Toronto (GCL) win, 3-0. The Blue Jays improved their record to 16-20 with the win over Las Vegas (GCL).

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Mangal Saadi came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Las Vegas (GCL) pitcher Mario Galvez, he hit a first pitch changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Toronto (GCL) on top, 1-0.

"Every play was important. Every out was important," said Blue Jays manager Justin Ammons.
