Behind a solid performance from second baseman Ray Pace, the Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays defeated the New York N (GCL) Mets, 11-1. Pace went 3-5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Rays. Jimmy Thompson picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Justin Meyer suffered the loss.
