Soggy conditions did not keep Toronto (GCL) and Houston (GCL) from playing their scheduled game.

The Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays beat the Houston (GCL) Astros, 7-2, at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Toronto (GCL) catcher Jason Hall led the way. He was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reliever Josh Jackson picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Kevin Bishop took the loss. Jeremy Button closed the door for Toronto (GCL), picking up his 3rd save of the year.

With Toronto (GCL) leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Hall hit a fastball from Seth Tindel for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Blue Jays ahead, 6-2.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Hall told the Toronto (GCL) Today.
