Braves Rally to Nose Past Las Vegas (GCL)
In a low-scoring tilt between the Atlanta (GCL) Braves and the Las Vegas (GCL) Hustle, 19-year old left-handed pitcher Pete Kasper was the difference-maker. The Atlanta (GCL) left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Carlos Menchaca picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Mike Garcia suffered the loss. The win puts the Braves at 28-14, while the Hustle drop to 8-37.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 17-year old shortstop Jose Barraza had a chance to be the hero. Las Vegas (GCL) pitcher Mike Garcia wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Barraza got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. The Braves had themselves a thrilling win.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Barraza said, postgame.
