Loss Tarnishes Fine Effort by Strange
The Houston (GCL) Astros weathered a fine game by Las Vegas (GCL) designated hitter Darius Strange to upend the Hustle, 9-5, at Roger Dean Stadium. Strange slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Adam Zimmerer earned the save for Houston (GCL). The third-place Astros improved to 23-23.

Houston (GCL) relied on the hitting of David Medina to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Astros on top, 6-5. For the game, Medina had 2 triples and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Medina. "I think we showed that here."
