Blue Jays Come Back Late, Nip Mets
The timely hitting of Ryan Tribbett helped the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays down the New York N (GCL) Mets, 4-3. Tribbett was 2-4 with a home run for the Blue Jays. The winner in relief was Antonio Castro. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-0. Earning his 4th save of the year was Willie Gamez.

Had Damien Giolitti not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Giolitti hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Blue Jays.

"I had some good swings out there," said Tribbett.

The second-place Blue Jays go to 29-15.
