Losing Trend Continues for Houston (GCL)
In a tightly-contested game between the Minnesota (GCL) Twins and the Houston (GCL) Astros, pitcher Bryan Baroff was outstanding. The Minnesota (GCL) right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the GCL with a 1.83 ERA, propelled his team's 1-0 win. Baroff yielded no runs over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-1. Picking up his 3rd save was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Weber.
