Blue Jays Lose Late, 4-2
The Minnesota (GCL) Twins beat the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays, 4-2, at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Kyle Cody was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 19-year old first baseman was a menace to Toronto (GCL) all day. The win went to Danny Clark in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Mario Pena took the loss. The last-place Twins are now 18-26, the Blue Jays 26-18.

Cody had a timely hit for Minnesota (GCL) in the top of the ninth. With Minnesota (GCL) trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 4-2, Minnesota (GCL).

Cody called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
