Braves Suffer 9-1 Loss to Mets
The New York N (GCL) Mets topped the Atlanta (GCL) Braves, 9-1, in Gulf Coast Rookie League action at Champion Stadium. The standout performance belonged to New York N (GCL) pitcher and Akron, Ohio, native Wayne Abresch. Abresch got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings.
