The 11-0 Colorado (GCL) win over Las Vegas (GCL) was due in large part to Kanyon Torrance. The Rockies first baseman went 2-3 with a home run, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. The wins continue to add up for Colorado (GCL). The latest makes it 14 in a row.

With Colorado (GCL) leading 4-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Torrance came up to bat against Las Vegas (GCL) pitcher Esteban Guzman. Torrance hit a splitter to left for a grand slam home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Rockies on top, 8-0.

Said losing manager Joel Bousquet: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
