Rockies Handle Mets, Nab 6-1 Win
The Colorado (GCL) Rockies finished off the New York N (GCL) Mets, 6-1. Much of the credit belonged to right fielder Willie Ponce. Ponce went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Rockies. Lorenzo Contreras snagged the win in relief. He goes to 6-1 on the season. Antonio Rodriguez suffered the loss. The Rockies improved their record to 38-14 with the win over New York N (GCL).
