Rockies Lose to Mets in Walk-Off
Colorado (GCL) shortstop Andy Dobson had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Dobson was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, even as New York N (GCL) beat the Rockies, 9-8. The Mets saw their win-loss record go to 25-28. At the same time, the Rockies fell to 27-25.

Jose Montoya was the walk-off hero for New York N (GCL). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Montoya. "It made for an exciting game."
