Cardinals Rally to Win
In a tight tilt between the St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals and the Pittsburgh (GCL) Pirates, Oscar Cabrera was the difference-maker. The St. Louis (GCL) right-hander excelled in his team's 2-1 win in 13 innings. Pittsburgh (GCL) has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 13th, 18-year old left fielder Alfredo Torres had a chance to be the hero. Pittsburgh (GCL) pitcher Adam Clemmons wanted to foil that plan. But with no outs, Torres drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Cardinals had themselves a thrilling win.

"This was a tremendous character win for our team," said St. Louis (GCL) manager Jayden Dunbar.
