9-1 Win Gets Chicago N (AZL) to 24-24
Chicago N (AZL) registered a win at Sloan Park by beating the Los Angeles A (AZL) Angels, 9-1. Pitcher Chris Herrera was one reason why the Cubs triumphed. Fernan Lameiras was credited with the save for Chicago N (AZL), his 2nd of the season. The Cubs are now 24-24, while the Angels fall to 23-25.

Jaylen Craighead, who is tied for 5th in the AZL in extra base hits with 25, took Los Angeles A (AZL) hurler Frank Vargas deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Cubs on top, 2-0. In all, Craighead had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 5.

"A great game, a great day," said Craighead about the win. "I can't complain."
