Cubs Come Back Late to Top Royals, 7-6

Mike Owens helped his team muscle past the Kansas City (AZL) Royals, 7-6. In the game, the Chicago N (AZL) left fielder went 2-2 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Sergio Ruiz earned the save for Chicago N (AZL), his 1st. Chicago N (AZL), at 24-29, holds down third place in the East Division.
Owens contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Chicago N (AZL) in the bottom of the eighth. With his team trailing 6-3, Owens took a sinker from Juan Ochoa and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Cubs to leap in front, 7-6.
