Texas (AZL) Rangers starter Aaron Howard worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Seattle (AZL) Mariners, 8-0. The last-place Mariners now sit at 7-48.

The Mariners had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Rangers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old first baseman Victor Cuellar came to the plate. Cuellar hit a 2-run double on a first pitch fastball from Seattle (AZL) hurler Jim Unknown. It was Cuellar's 1st double of the year.
