The San Diego (AZL) Padres beat the Texas (AZL) Rangers by a score of 10-3. San Diego (AZL) second baseman Andy McKinney deserved the lion's share of the credit. McKinney was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Padres. Bill Pierce, the winner, is now 5-2.
