The New York N (GCL) Mets picked up a win at Hammond Stadium, taking down the Minnesota (GCL) Twins, 1-0. Starting pitcher Wayne Spadoni was a big reason why. Aaron Hunt earned save number 2 this season. Minnesota (GCL) has now lost 4 consecutive games.
Danny Espino had a direct impact on the outcome. Espino contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the seventh inning to put New York N (GCL) up, 1-0.
