Brewers Trip Twins, 6-3, in Extra Innings
|
The Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers outlasted the Minnesota (SS-A) Twins, 6-3, in 11 innings. Dan Campbell played a key role, going 3-for-3 for Milwaukee (SS-A). The first-place Brewers have a one-game lead in their division.
Jon Sullens provided a timely hit. The Milwaukee (SS-A) center fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the 11th inning to put the Brewers on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"It was terrific getting this win," Sullens said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
