Hawks Run Win Streak to 6

The Boise Hawks extended their winning streak.
The Boise Hawks picked up a win at Volcanoes Stadium, dropping the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, 3-1. Troy Stauffer was the difference-maker. Shamar James closed it out for Boise, earning his 5th save.
In the top of the sixth, Boise first baseman Kanyon Torrance gave his team the lead. With two out and a runner on 1st, Flip hit his 2nd home run of the year. Salem-Keizer pitcher Joe Grauberger surrendered it. With that, the Hawks jumped in front, 2-1.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Stauffer.
Boise has a record of 27-22, placing them first in the East Division.
