Vancouver Gets 2-0 Win Behind Lefty Merrit
In a tight contest between the Vancouver Canadians and the Spokane Indians, Steve Merrit was the determining factor. The Vancouver left-hander sparkled in his team's 2-0 win. Matt Burch, who is tied for 2nd in the NWL in saves with 9, earned the save for Vancouver. Vancouver is 22-28 and Spokane, with the loss, 31-18.
