Angels Snatch Late-Game, 5-4 Win
Los Angeles A (SS-A) parlayed a decent outing from starter Victor Aviles into a solid win over the Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds. The final score was 5-4. Steve Hall snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-2 on the season. Cody Cochran suffered the loss. The Angels raised their record to 20-30.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Los Angeles A (SS-A). That's when Jose Fernandez hit a solo home run off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Cody Cochran to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Victor did a good job of managing their lineup," said Los Angeles A (SS-A) manager Sam Johnson.
