Twins Get 4-0 Win Versus Kansas City (SS-A)
Right-hander Ruben Renteria mesmerized the Kansas City (SS-A) Royals while leading the Minnesota (SS-A) Twins to a 4-0 victory. The winner was Renteria. He threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Garrett Youngblood. The Twins sit in second place in the North Division with a record of 30-21.

Branco Martijn had a big run-scoring triple for the Twins in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Minnesota (SS-A) leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Garrett Youngblood, who leads the NWL in innings pitched with 85.2, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Twins ahead, 2-0.
