Eugene designated hitter Eddy Delgado had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Boise Hawks, 8-5. After today's action, Eugene sits at 32-19, while Boise falls to 28-24.

Delgado contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Eugene in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Delgado took a slider from Eddie Keeton and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Emeralds to leap in front, 3-1.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Delgado told the Eugene News. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
