Canadians Drop AquaSox, 1-0
|
Everett got a valiant performance from pitcher Cosmo Murta, but it wasn't enough to beat the Vancouver Canadians. Vancouver won the game, 1-0. Murta threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Ivan Medina locked down his 1st save. Vancouver is third in the West Division with a record of 32-37.
Nick Friedman had a direct impact on the outcome. Friedman contributed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put Vancouver up, 1-0.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Friedman.
